Fuel pump strainers act as a first line of defense against fuel system degredation. Strainers filter out common debris found in gasoline such as dirt, dust and other particulate matter, as well as gasoline varnish. Quantum fuel pump strainers feature multiple layers of strainer media to filter progressively smaller particle sizes. The expanded surface area provides enhanced filtration, extending the life of the fuel pump. Restricted fuel flow through a clogged strainer causes the fuel pump to work harder, reducing pump longevity. Strainer clogging is among the top causes of fuel pump failure making it important to replace your strainer regularly - before problems arise. We recommend replacing fuel pump strainers in powersports applications once a year as part of a preventative maintenance plan.

My 3rd replacement just failed in ~5 hours of run time with these pumps. First pump ordered ~5 months ago. They run great for about an hour or 2, then they just crap out. They have a lifetime warranty, but charge $15 for mailing every time. I replace with an OEM off of another machine and runs fine without ever having any issues.I've checked psi, cleaned tank, checked voltage and it's all good. It's 100% these cheap quantum assemblies.I'm not going to pay another $15 via their "warranty" fir an hour of drive time and a ~week between replacing. I'm going to ask for a refund and go with cheaper Chinese assembly that a buddy has been using for 10 hours without any issues.I searched around and thought this was the route to take, it's not. Don't waste your money! These pumps will strand you. Google search quantum fuel pump failure and you'll find people with same repeat failure who buy OEM or cheap Chinese pump and they have no further issues.I'll update this post with how refund goes.Update: I did get a refund from Amazon.

I work on atv,sxs, and dirt bikes, I installed this one on a 2012 ranger 800. I have used other brand of fuel pumps and i have had the best luck with these! They alway fit perfectly, wire hook up correctly and I have never had problems with them after installed.

I finally found a good quality fuel pump! It’s worth the money to buy this fuel pump. I have had zero issues with it on my 2011 Polaris Ranger 800 efi. I bought the cheap one last time and it only lasted 3 days. This pump will not disappoint, plus it has a lifetime warranty. ;)

Replaced my filter in my 2021 Polaris rzr xp 1000, this was a direct replacement as the factory one, only difference is the metal clip.Make sure you have a fuel pump cap wrench to remove the fuel sending unit to replace this filter. Or make one.
