This tape is really gritty and holds things in place as well as preventing slips. It's super easy to apply. I haven't tried to remove it yet, so I don't know about that. Nor do I know how it holds up outdoors. I'll update my review when I know.

I have steps from my garage going into my house with aluminum stair edging. The edging would become slippery if your shoes were wet. This tape did the job of adding traction to the steps, making them safer to walk on.

We bought this to put on some folding plastic tables we use on the boat to keep things from slipping and sliding around with the boat's movement. It stuck very firmly to the plastic. It is heavy duty, it easy to apply and will do exactly what we wanted it to do.
