I do reenactment, and I got tired of having to figure out a way to protect the edges of my wide-brimmed straw hats any time I took them anywhere.This lightweight hat box has classic styling and is just the right size to fit even my widest straw hat. They're practically flat, so there's plenty of room for all my other hats to stack on top of them. It has already more than paid for itself.If I had to change one thing about this hatbox, it would probably be to make it not quite as tall. My hats stack neatly together, with the crown of one hat inside the crown of the one above it, but this box is tall enough to fit a 10-gallon cowboy hat. That leaves a lot of extra space on top that I can only fill with lightweight items like scarves that won't crush the hats. If it were a little less tall, I could fit it in smaller spaces when I'm packing my car.

I used this for my Derby hats to keep them dust free and it works great! Very sturdy and I love the see through panel. Highly recommend!

Pretty nice hatbox. Diameter is right for large brim hats. The only complaint is the sides are a bit floppy but once the top is zipped up it does the job.
