I have not soldered these yet but I can tell you that the force needed to separate the connectors is extreme.. I mean extreme!! You need to fully engage the two sides in order to defeat the 5.3 ohm resistor used as a soft start so don’t even think that pushing the connectors together 90% of the way because they are tight will help here. It won’t, and is not safe, clearly in spite of the tight connection. I am contemplating using two loops of good nylon string and JB Welded-ing them to each side of the connectors so as to create a pulling handle. Hope this helps. I may update following completion.

I am not sure if these are genuine, though their performance seems as good if they are not. I'm currently using these on a Arrma Outcast 8s that has been converted to 12s with 56112 motor and Max5 G2 ESC. This single pack was enough to do my car, packs and create charging leads. Going this route also means a much larger variety of battery options, though you need a good iron, flux and solder. I suggest plugging a female or male in while soldering if you find yourself overheating the pins and melting the plastic housing, this also requires an extremely good iron.

Work well for delivering large amounts of power. A bit tricky to get soldered on, but work well.
