Robust plates, well made. 5 stars for sure.P.S. I used bolts and nuts instead of the screws they put with the plates and I would recommend you to do the same if possible.

The thickness of both plates are the same, so there is zero reason for the hole size/bevel to be smaller on the smaller plates. I would not mind so much except the kit comes with a common size of screw sized for the larger plate hole size. They seat flush on those, but stand proud on the smaller plates. Super annoying that I have to hit the small plates with a countersink bit if I want a nice finish.

Did the job!I built some planters out of pallets, and I used these to connect the sideboards.Would say these were pretty sturdy, and they function well.Best thing, they were inexpensive and look great!

Mending plates are strong enough to support pantry shelves. I used them to connect two shelves together in a corner. Black finish is very nice, and the screws match very well. Countersinks on the plates allow the screws to sit flush to the plate. Very neat look when installed.

These plates were very strong and easy to join two pressure-treated planks for my raised planter. I like that the holes were already counter sunk so the decking screws I used sat flush. Having three holes on each side meant the plate was stable without needing to be longer. The included screws and driver bit was a nice addition.
