From the Manufacturer
This is the strongest, most versatile strap available and is easy to install. Peel and press one end to the furniture, screw the other end into the wall stud through grommet hole. Each kit contains two nylon straps, enough for one large item of furniture. Straps won't damage wood and hide from view. Available in various colors.

I've tried a couple different products for anchoring furniture to the walls to protect my little munchkin from hurting herself, but these seem to work the best. They're a little more expensive than other options, but they're easy to install because only one end needs to be screwed into the wall. The other side attaches to the furniture via velcro. The velcro strip is stuck to the furniture wherever you want and the strap is secured via the velcro. It is a sturdy hold as the velcro is quite strong and virtually impossible to pull apart when pulled in parallel opposite directions, yet if you want to move the furniture, you can pull the velcro off by pulling it up (or perpendicular) from the velcro.

I needed something to secure a very light but tall bookshelf. Since I have been very happy with the steel Quakehold fasteners for my heavier furniture, I decided to try these straps for the bookshelf. It was simple to install and held strong when I pulled the bookshelf forward with most of my weight. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable using velcro fasteners for furniture like heavy dressers, TV stands, etc., but I think it works very well for lighter furniture like this. Please note that the provided materials state that the velcro weakens after several times of fastening and unfastening (I can't remember the exact number of times, perhaps 20), so this may not be a good solution for you if you will regularly need to undo the velcro and reposition your furniture. It doesn't affect me, but it's something to be aware of with this type of fastener.

A 5.3 earthquake struck less than 90 after installing these. Well worth the piece of mind knowing my fish tank was safe.

These kits work well. They aren't the best-looking option since there are sizeable nylon straps on top of the furniture, but they feel like they should really help to keep heavy furniture in place.I trust that the shear strength of the velcro is enough to support my furniture in the event of an earthquake or even a child climbing on it. The fact that there isn't much space for it to move to gain any real momentum makes it seem safe. Note that the instructions do warn that pull the velcro apart many times will decease it's holding ability (but I think it spoke of something like 25 separations).Overall, I feel much safer with these in our dresser, with two young children around. It seems to me that these two straps would holding more strongly than the steel wire and screws that came with the furniture. Since those attach my a small screw into the top rail of the back of the furniture, it just doesn't seem that secure--either the screw into the furniture or that rail seem like they might give.

If you live in SoCal you need these to secure tall furniture. It’s cheap, easy to install, strong and most importantly, provides extra safety for you your family during a quake. Can’t put a price on that.

I bought this to ensure my son's lizard tank would not tip over for any reason. super easy to attach I made sure I found a stud in the wall first. it was difficult for me by myself but ultimately very satisfied with the product

I had these straps on my old TV and got a new TV so I needed new straps. The old straps are still on the old TV so whoever ends up with it will can screw them in and they're all set. The end attached to the TV(s) is a very strong adhesive and about 4 inches.I live in Los Angeles and have a cat that likes to go wild behind the TV. I have friend who's cat has knocked down 2 TVs, shattering the screens. Earthquake and pet and child and adult proof.

I was really happy to find this product, we have used it for my mother’s fridge, she is in a retirement home and we raised her little fridge for her so we used the strap to make sure when she might lean on the door it wouldn’t fall on her, so far so good
