I really appreciate how light weight and ease of placing these bags. I’m a woman in my 60’s with bad knees. I have no problems moving them even after they quickly expand. They kept the water from seeping in.

These bags absolutely saved my basement from flooding. Just purchased the house and have had water issues with every heavy rain. New gutters helped a bit, probably need to do a French drain, but for now these are a good temporary solution. So the rain was over a week ago and they don’t seem to be drying out at all. Reviews did say they take awhile. How long exactly?🤷ðŸ¼â€â™€ï¸ Hopefully before the next rain. Also, ppl suggested putting out in the sun to dry, but what if it’s winter? The directions say do not put in direct sunlight. So who’s right? Many reviews mentioned how slimy they are when wet. They definitely are. Not a big deal just a heads up when trying to move them. Overall, I’m happy I got them. Would just like to know how long they will take to dry out and if leaving them in place will result in mildew/mold??🧠Any comments appreciated.

I've bought multiple boxes of these the past few years and with all the flooding my old house gets sometimes, they've become life-savers. My husband will argue that once the bags are full it takes forever to dry out, which is true and that the water would more quickly just dry up on the concrete...also true. BUT, these stop the water from flooding our entire basement, damaging things, and there's always the fear of it getting too high and ruining our furnace, washer, and dryer. In really bad rains, sometimes they can't sop it all up, so I've bought more and stacked them and that's really helped. The reason I'm giving them 4 stars and not 5 is because of the months it takes for them to dry out and the whitish slippery residue it leaves behind. Problem with trying to dry them is even if you can put them outside in the hot summer, one good rain and they're all bloated again. Plus, they're so heavy and slimy with the white residue hauling them out of the basement outside, lining them up, putting a tarp over them, takes up way too much space and again, just difficult.

As I prepare for Hurricane Milton, these suck. They take a ton of water (more than the 4 gallons), only a few of them inflated (at least 30% failed after tons of water and an hour) and they don't 'gel'. I wish I had gotten sand bags or more of the water barriers as I have no confidence these will keep out the water. I was counting on these bags and now I'm out of time and don't think they'll work.

Kept the water out of my garage during Ian and Nicole. These are reusable but, in my experience, even in Florida heat, it takes forever for them to dry out. That's why I bought a new box this year. Yes, sandbags are free if you have your own shovel and want to bag your own sand in the heat and humidity before an oncoming storm. I prefer these dams. Warning, do not try to step on these when wet. Very slippery.

Haven't had to put them out yet, but they are on hand in case I need them. Living in Florida, you never know. I have a tub labeled Flood Mitigation. These take up little storage room and are much easier to handle than sand bags.

These work like a charm. They soak up tons of water and then block water from going beyond. The best part is that they dry out in the summer and go flat, for easy storage. You cannot do that with sandbags!

Bags inflated really well. We stacked them in front of our basement door as the river rises really close to our house. Luckily the river didn’t quite reach it this year so I’m not sure how well they keep the water out but they looked secure

These bags are really good at soaking up water and creating a nice little dam for you. If you do not get too much water in the bags, it is possible to get the water to evaporate if you diligently place them in the sun for a looonnggggg period of time and then you will be able to re-use them. If you fill them up, this is pretty much a single use item.
