Description and measurements are correct.I ordered the smallest size they offered, and they really are super tiny.I got exactly what I wanted, but now I'm ordering the medium size because these bad boys are too small for the fish species I go for (mainly trout) in some of the bigger lakes.But with that being said, these will be absolutely perfect for my tiny spinners (1/32 oz. And 1/16 oz.) And for when I'm floating flies and really small treble hooks for when I want to hide the snap, or for even using cheese or powerbait, they'll hide really easy.Strength....I tested with small needle nose, with some 8 lb standard monofilament and they held up great, surprisingly they are a pretty strong type of wire. I finally got it to bend a little, didn't snap. So that is a good thing. Would easily hold trout up to 4-5lb range.You will need needle nose to clip on and off because of how small. Will buy again when I'm running low.

These work well. I ordered the smallest size and I will warn you, they are microscopic! They hold well and I’ve never had one straighten out and lose the fly, even when hooked into good sized fish. The only issue I’ve found is that they will bend open slightly when youre clipping them to the hook/fly/whatever if the eyelet is on the heavier gauge side, so you just want to double check and pinch it shut with some pliers or forceps before you get casting. Otherwise, if you’ve got lure OCD like me and you change your fly every ten casts, these will save you a lot of time, headache and $ in leaders. I will definitely order more.

Snap wire too light to withstand lure shock caused by backlash. When casting a lure, if backlash occurs, snap wire will break when backlash stops the lure in flight and you’ll lose your lure. I lost two good lures when backlash caused snap to break. I would only use on spin cast reels and hope for the best.
