The oversize opening is a huge advantage over traditional sized carabiners. Allows attachment over a chin-pull-up bar. The additional locking mechanism is also a great feature for added strength, safety & reliability.

This is big enough for what I needed but it is not spring assisted the front just falls over and is not usable for a daily carabiner I intended to use it for I will keep it for other usage.
