The old Bush hog power takeoff pin was missing. You couldnt latch the shaft to the tractor. I didn't think I would find this pin due to the age of the bush hog drive shaft. The pin looks to be the same as the original and works as designed.

This fit my pto drive shaft on my implement fine. The washer used to lock into place is not best design but its holding on while sitting in the yard. I will probably modify it with a roll pin or stainless wire to secure it better. But it seems like it will keep the shaft locked unto pto as required. I will try to update once I put it to use in the field.

this was purchased for an older brush hog PTO shaft that was missing its locking pin (where the shaft attaches to the tractor's PTO) The hole through the shafts' yoke was the same diameter all the way though so I ended up welding a washer over one end to bring the diameter down size of the shaft on the spring end. this put the spring inside the yoke and I press on the large smooth end as the release button. I've seen them mounted in reverse though with the spring sticking out of the yoke so you press on the spring end and retaining clip to release the yoke. Its been in service for several months at 540 RPM with no issues.
