I needed a drink holder to go on my music stand for gigs. I needed it to be sturdy because it would get moved alot from gig to gig. I didn't want anything plastic that might get broken. This filled the bill perfectly.

Heavy duty.... possibly even heavier than it needs to be, but will certainly do the job. A little concerned about the vinyl material at the bottom and whether the adhesive that's holding it in place will stand up to heavy use and often present moisture from condensation, but if it comes off, I'll figure something else out. Most important is that this holder won't be easily bumped off the stand, and it's big enough to also hold my nice, stainless steel Takeya 22oz water bottle.

This beverage holder took the place of a small tray that was for similar purposes before the threaded hole needed to tighten the tray to the music stand pole/rod stripped and could no longer be used. This beverage holder has an industrial strength design and build and should last a long time based on my first few users of it during rehearsals. It's sturdy, looks great, and holds my water bottle securely while maintaining stability. If you're a musician that needs to bring your stand to the party, and want to have your beverage in an easy to reach place during the rehearsal or gig, then this little inexpensive item is highly recommended.

Let's get the one bad part out of the way. Please STOP putting the CA cancer proposition sticker on the coaster portion. Put it on the box or the underside of the product. I bought 2 of these and the sticker came off mess free on one but the other is a sticky mess. Nobody wants a sticky mess of glue to dig at with their fingernail.The good: I'm not deducting any stars because the product is really good. I bought mine to connect to treestands while deer hunting. It may be hard to tell but the bottom of the holder is actually a silent coaster insert rather than solid metal. It's important when hunting to minimize noise so I wrapped the exposed metal parts in black sports tape. Very sturdy product and I'm very happy with it. Hunters, you must have a verticle bar to connect this to. Horizontal isn't going to work without rigging something verticle onto it first. I do wish the mounting bracket had more versatility for the directional mounting ability.

It's one of the best accesories in my voiceover home studio. Sometimes I have to wait while the clients are checking the takes remotely. Before I would place a glass of water in the floor and many times forgot and kicked it accidentaly with my foot, messing up the carpet. Now I can place it in the holder. Very sturdy. Holds a glass up to almost 10 in diameter. Very happy with this purchase. Pictures soon :-)
