This is one of my first June Tailor projects and I was very pleased with the outcome. The directions were clear and easy to follow. Sewing on the pre-marked batting took all the guess work and hassle out of the project. Just choose your fabrics, measure, cut and sew. Easy-peasy! I absolutely love this mat and all the pockets that make finding my scissors a breeze! I will be buying more of these Sew As You Go projects.

If I were to make it again, I would add a light weight iron on interfacing to the backing fabric to make the cover a little stiffer.

The pattern was on batting which was enclosed. So once you cut out the batting (which is used for project), you no longer have a pattern…. The instructions were not very clear. I was disappointed and will return.
