I used this starry stencil on an inner white border of a lap size red/white/blue quilt I made recently. I adjusted it slightly to fit the width of my border. It worked out well and I was happy with the result. I'm still a little afraid of free motion quilting, but I was able to do this border fairly quickly using my free motion foot and a disappearing marker.

I think this is my new favorite quilting stencil! It is easy to mark, easy to stitch, and gives you a lot of "bang for your buck"!

The box didn't contain any dunage to support the item. It needed to be placed flat.
