It is almost as if these pins have a burr on the point making piercing the fabric very difficult. I thought Clover was a good brand but these pins are terrible.

I do dressmaking although I've always wanted to make a quilt, just not got around to it yet. So I haven't used these yet. They are nice long pins but watch out -- they are very sharp.

I've never bought quilting pins before so I was a bit disappointed to see that quite a few of them are a bit tarnished just below the bead head. I was concerned that they may mark the material but they don't seem to have, so far.
