Suitable for a Variety of Environments
Suitable for water heater, water tank and water tower, toilet, garden pipe, RV, etc. The empty water inside the water heater will cause its dry burning, power consuming and there are unsafety. Once the water inside the toilet falls back to the water pipe, it can cause secondary pollution.
Function
One-way check valve to prevent medium in the pipeline without backflow. It can be used to transmit gas and liquids under constant pressure. Vertical or horizontal levels can be used.
Note
One-way flow of 1/2" Female to 1/2" Male Thread, please confirm the direction before procurement and installation. If the installation is reversed, the water will not come out.

This part worked great for me after getting an adapter for the correct threading. I used this part under high pressure compressed air and so far it has held up against 150 psi. I turned an old broken compressor into an inline auxiliary air tank/portable air tank. Would have given 5 stars if it had stated that the threads are not standard US NPT threads. The threads are NPS threads which are straight while NPS threads are tapered. Good product though

The threads are straight threads and not tapered threads. It comes with rubber washers which did not work to seal the threads for me. I would not have bought them if I had known the threads were not tapered like every pipe fitting in the USA. They leaked. A small leak drip, drip, drip, but it's a leak. Maybe a better rubber washer would help.

I replaced the original plastic cold water inlet to my RV with brass fittings after having a leak. The valve worked perfectly and I haven’t experienced any additional leaks.

I looked all over and could only find valves that worked in the other direction. The wrong direction for my application. This valve has solved my problem!

Work fine but had a hard time getting enough pipe dope (or tape) on the male threads to stop them from leaking. The female threads are not tapered, but they provide a washer to stop leaking there. I don't really recommend this product.
