This product worked like it should. It was a bit bulky but it does the job. I added my own lock. I mainly wanted it because my valve on my gas meter is on the outside of fence, in the front of my home. Bought it for safety in case someone decided to do something funny. It's mostly plastic and yes it's able to be broken but that would take some effort. I would say it came with no instructions and it was a bit complicated to install. But after scratching my head a few times, I was able to get it to work.

This is huge! Added a lock (not included)Serves the purposes from renters shutting on an unnecessary water valve, but did spray paint it gray to be more inconspicuous

I was use to industrial ball valves that had a position that allowed a padlock, for safety and such. My house valve did not have lock hardware with it. I needed to secure this valve so no one could turn it on as it is going to a path that is no longer used. This worked great and now I don't have to worry about kids or contractors flipping valves.

Ordered for a major construction project. The product advertisement said that it was designed to fit and valve handles as wide as two and a half inches it did not fit my valve handles which are one and a half inches wide it is only designed to accommodate a 1-in wide valve handle
