I used these all the time to melt small amounts of silver to alloy and make jewelry out of. Would recommend. Ps, get the borax from the store. Its the same thing and cheaper.

All I've done so far is glaze them with borax. Took the glazing and heat well.

The pack of 4 helps to have crucibles for different metals and avoid contamination, so far I'm using them frequently and work great, good heat transfer, easy to manage, great for small casting.

The curcibles were ok, one was cracked in two, another had bad chipping around the spout. The other two were pretty good. Seller may of replaced the two damaged but honestly it wasn't worth the time to try.
