I was kinda worried about getting such a cheap lock but now looking back it's the best decision I think I made buying cheap stuff on Amazon. The lock works GREAT! No problems. No nothing. It fit in the lock space perfectly. No rust at all! And it definitely keeps un wanted people outta my storage unit.

The opening of the lock was too small by about 1-3mm to fit around the truck door shackle of the u-haul. So they did not serve to secure the moving truck.These are a great value otherwise. Saved some money from the prices the storage facility charged for these kind of locks. Worked great for the storage unit door.Not abnormal, but appreciated having multiple keys as well.

I had occasion to rent a small storage unit and didn't want to pay the company's lock fee so I got this instead. Smooth operation and the sleeved shackle would make this challenging to cut off, I would think. Certainly it would defeat most would be thieves.Unfortunately, storage companies have changed their latch styles, forcing the use of a cylinder lock. This lock and other padlock style locks would not fit on my storage unit so this was returned. Still a good lock, though.

The lock jams up and is really hard to open and close. This lock is not weather resistant.

My parents have had one of thease locks on a gate for over 20 years .Unfortunately we only had one key that snapped so found this one .Not expensive, sturdy and hopefully will last 20 years.

Extremely good quality. Bought it to move across the country and keep my possessions secure in a U-haul. You can’t cut these locks with bolt cutters. Much better price on Amazon than in store. Highly recommend.
