We are using these on our 55 gallon drums that we cut the top off of and putting feed in. They have been great at keeping any pests and water out. We have bought these twice as we added more barrels. Would recommend they work great and have a draw string to tighten to fit various lid sizes

They fit nice. Bought 6 of these, 3 of them after 5 month's and few rain/snow storms, water had filled top of drums and since main bung was open to relieve any pressure water got into three barrels.

Aparently I have not taken a picture with the cover on, but I built a sand barrel stand for the driveway and this cover goes over the open end of the barrel. While the cover tightens, I chose not to leave things to chance and use the cover in combination with an adjustable 40" bungee cord which I also picked up via Amazon. The two of them have handles two snowstorms totaling 23.5" of snow, and a torrential rain event totalling 3.5" and I just opened up the barrel today and the sand is bone dry - not even any frozen runoff in the bottom of the cover. I got the set of two in case the first one somehow ripped or was otherwise compromised. So far so good!

First of all, the covers came packaged tightly in a plastic bag wrapped in more plastic. It was very hard to cut the wrapping without possibly cutting the cover fabric. I was afraid I would cut into the fabric.Secondly, the elastic drawstrings were very hard to pull tight -- and there was no cord lock !!!!! So, the drawstrings don't stay tight and I'm afraid wind will blow the covers off. The fabric seems okay and they fit easily over my rain barrels. But, someone needs to address these flaws.

It suits my needs without being too expensive! It’s not super thick or extra durable, but it blocks sunlight, it’s waterproof and it easily covers a 55 gallon drum, so it checks all my boxes. I bought the more expensive brand name version first and it was fine, but this one was nearly $25 less and does the job just as well!
