there a Little tricky to install but once they are installed they work GREAT.DUE TO THE MAJOR FLOOD I HAD EARLIER THIS YEAR, MY DOORFRAME BECAME A LITTLE WARPPEDyou must make sure the doorway is flush and square IT MAKE IT SO MUCH EASYIER TO INSTALL . . . I usually buy a set of spring loaded hinges once a year from tsc because the prior years hinges wear out and are useless. These feel so much sturdier and tighten down fantastically. Would buy again

I can't even test these hinges because there are no instructions and I cannot figure out how to put the lock pin in. I would have returned them but my return window closed before I got to my project

I am an experienced carpenter by trade, and have bought hundreds of standard door hinges from this site, and they have all been of great quality and a relatively low price. With that said, I would do your homework before buying these. Traditional cafe doors are mounted centered on the opening (or door jamb). These hinges cannot be installed centered on the jamb. They have to be installed like a traditional entry door hinge, which to me, takes away from the look of the doors.Also, there are no instructions. I don’t need instructions, but I have installed hundreds of doors over the past 25 years. I do not see how the average DIY customer could install these without doing a lot of research, on other manufacturers hinges, because you will not find any info from this manufacturer.The quality isn’t that great. I expected a little more, even though they were priced fairly low. They are next to impossible to adjust and get lined up even, when they are at rest. I got them pretty close, but not perfect. I have a feeling I will be replacing these within the year.Best of luck.
