I used this on my water main bypass line to prevent accidental bypass of my smart water shut off device. You can "lock" it finger tight with a nut and bolt so in case of emergency you aren't fumbling around for a key.

I bought this so I could lock the water feed into my house. I figure this will make it a little more difficult if squatters try to move in when I'm on a trip.
