We have 2 M-B's in the family. I keep them in a small kit for my tires. When removing or re-installing tires, they make the job so much easier! No more hit and miss with holding the tire with one hand and trying to fit the lug with the other. I screws this on to an empty hole, slide the wheel on, make any slight adjustment and install the bolts. Done and done!

Like every Audi now, the plastic pin that comes with the car is both cheap and unlikely to actually hold up. Hanging a 20†rim with tire on the single factory plastic pin is a recipe for disaster, since it weighs nearly 65 pounds. Not clever, Audi. These very well made metal pins easily bear the weight, protecting you, your wheel and your bodywork on the car. Two in place also helps guide the wheel better than the factory single pin. Unless you do tire rotations yourself like me, you might never need these since flat tires aren’t common now, but you will be really, really grateful to have them if you end up trying to fit a spare on the car roadside during a snow or rainstorm some miserable night….for this money, do yourself a favor and tuck a set of these away in your spare tire well just in case. The quality of the manufacture is quite impressive, too.

If you own a vehicle that use wheel bolts instead of studs. Mostly German cars.. This..... Is a must have! Make taking wheels off & on a breeze. Plus, it stops the rim from hitting the brake caliper when removing or replacing the wheel. Plus, it hold the wheel in place while you hand start the bolts. Life saver..

These work exactly as hoped except...when the wheel hangs off them, the metal can chip the paint on the rim, especially the "serrated" portion at the end. I ended up dipping them in rubberized paint to avoid further damage to the rims.

not much to say. they fit, they do the job without issue, they’re a good price. dont need any extra tools to use them or anything, you just screw them in, hang your wheel, get your lug bolts started, and take them off by hand and throw them back in your toolbox/ glove compartment or wherever you keep them. just for reference, i use them specifically on my 2010 mk6 volkswagen git.

Thread is correct and make swapping wheels easier. Only needed 2. I added spacers and wheel.

I love German cars, but HATE their wheel mounting bolts not lugs and nuts. Hello, Mercedes, VW, Audi, BMW, are you listening!!! You try changing a flat tire on a rural road with 18 wheelers blowing by and tell me that you can locate the hole for the wheel bolt, you can't. But of you have this tool, you screw 2 of them in, slide the wheel on, locate three bolts, unscrew these stud and put the last 2 bolts in and you're done. Save yourself some aggravation and maybe your life and buy a set.

If like me you do your own seasonal wheels change, this is a must if your car has bolts instead of nuts. This makes it so much easier. Highly recommended!

Won’t think that lifting a tire few inches off the ground and balancing on the wheel is such a pain. But when you have two cars and twice a year to change tires seasonally then this all add up. This hanger stud is a relief for position the wheel without straining the back. It’s a must have for all Cars with wheel lugs. Metric size M14 is pretty universal. Minus one star for the fit is a bit sloppy.
