This mask's fan works backwards of other air purifying masks. No mask is a complete seal on anyone's face. By sucking air out of the mask it causes negative pressure in the mask. That pulls contaminants (and virus) into the mask through the edges of the mask. I prefer the opposite. A mask that causes positive pressure by pushing HEPA filtered air into the mask insuring you are breathing filtered (and cool) outside air and pushing contaminants away from the inside of the mask.

Great mask wish it was stronger material. I can breathe easier with it. Can't go in to certain places wearing it without another mask on top of it because they think it's not CDC approved. I love the mask cause I can breathe easier.

The product felt like it was working in the beginning ,only dislike battery life Short,product power on for a minute & then cuts off,have to power it back on & its stays on for minute or so & cuts off.

Both masks are made from a thin, light-weight neoprene material (similar to wet suits). They fit comfortably and feel light given they are thicker than most masks.The mask has an K95 filter that is taped to the inside of the mask with two sided sticky tape discs, one on each side. These proved to be a little problematic. At least one on each mask kept coming off while wearing the mask. If the lining is not completely flat within the mask, the fan will not exhaust properly. Having a better way to attach the inner filter would move this to five stars.I really liked the sports mask. It fits well and attaches with Velcro in the back. This keeps in from being attached to the ear allowing it to be worn longer. I wore it for several hours, probably the longest I have kept a mask on at any time. In order to keep in in place I had to put the straps on tight which caused some pressure against my nose. I wear glasses that fog up when wearing a mask. With the sports mask, I had very little issues with fogging.I wore the standard mask for an hour and found this one to be little more comfortable. It did not, however, reduce fogging, even with the fan on full speed. The straps on this one are easily adjusted and are comfortable. There are soft silicone rubber ear guards included for the straps, but these do not stay on very well.I was surprised at how light the fan is. Adding it to the mask does not cause any weight issue. The mask stays in place and the added weight is barely noticeable.The fan is easy to turn on and off while wearing the mask and easy to adjust between the three speeds. The fan itself is very quiet. On the lowest sped it is hard to detect. When wearing the mask, the sound of the fan is not noticeable, so it is not distracting in any way.The fan does make a difference in the air. I was able to keep the mask on for a much longer period time than I normally. There is a much thinner filter in the vented ring making me question whether or not this mask really protects others. The mask will certainly filter the air as you breath in, but it is ejecting the air you breathe out directly out of the mask.All of the components are washable. It is very easy to assemble and dissemble the mask. The sticky tape can be problematic because after taking it apart to wash, the tape will definitely not work again and will need to be replaced. There are no extra pads in the kit.Overall, this is a high-quality mask set. I’ll let you decide whether the price is right or not.

Job requires a mask at all times, bought this to help with light-activity tasks. Works great! installing it onto masks from other companies can get a tad finicky, but it can work with most vented-masks.

Tried it but did not move out enough of the hot air for me. My glasses still fogged up from use. Also the mask does not sit too well against my face. Too many leaks on the side and top so protection is limited. Also the exhaust valve does not filter or one way valve.
