Please wrap teflon tape around fittings thread to prevent leaks from these plugs.

Italy Ahlstrom filter materrial has better strength, burst resistance and stiffness, the filter paper folding distance is more uniform, results in higher dust holding capacity and longer span life than normal filter material.
3 Layers synthetic fiber material
The filter efficiency of normal cellulose or cellulose and glass fiber mixed material is around 75% at 20 Micron and life span is around 6,000 miles, while our synthetic fiber material is 99% at 4 Micron and 20,000 - 40,000 miles.

When on the water you never know what kind of fuel you are going to get. Sometimes the fuel is clean, sometimes it has a lot of water in it and can get stranded. the engine online filter can only do so much that it is imperative to have a fuel/water separator. This little unit is perfect for my engine and the price was right. Easy to install and solid construction with a lot of options to connect the fuel lines. Very pleased.

Bought these to avoid the ultra high costs of a Fram. These came with top and bottom gaskets.Zero leaks and spin on installation when given a quarter turn more beyond tight. Replace each spring and your good to go.

The plastic bowl , after watching a video,was supposed to be removed and lubed . I couldn’t get it off used a band wrench so instead of buyin a new filter for $12 l had to buy both $17 . Other than that it worked great , I know because my boat tank was full of lake water and the filter is clogged pretty good now

So far I'm liking this water / fuel separator just fine. It fit well in the firewall if my VW Super Beetle. I've discovered water in the fuel at service stations down here in Florida is a kinda regular thing, 3 times in 4 years. Im hopefully this does the trick for a while. Took about 2 hours with a couple of fuel hose replacements. Will update review if it fails or in a year, which ever is first.

Bought this product to replace the inadequate filter system that came on my Tym 574 tractor. This filter mounted up nice with a little modification of the factory bracket and now gives me the option of using cheap and readily available parts store filters. Will update the review if I have any issues in the future.

This product is dangerous. I first hooked it up per the instructions and arrows on the product. Then pumped the primer bulb and gas immediately filled the bottom plastic container and it was fuel not water. I did some research and found that the arrows were incorrect. Fuel should flow into the center of the filter and then out and into the engine. I switched the lines but again gas filled the bottom bowl. I thought maybe that's how it was supposed to work so used it. My wife squeezed the primer the other day and said is gas supposed to be leaking. I said no and after looking saw that the plastic part had a hole in it and fuel was coming out. Luckily she saw it or we could have had a serious accident with any spark. I removed the filter and bypassed it for now until I can get something more reliable. I read the reviews and looks like some may work but saw some that had same issue that I had. I think there may be some defective ones that just fill the bottom bowl with fuel. So if you have one of these please ensure your bottom bowl is water and no gas or you could have a life threatening accident. The vendor should also ensure that this product is safe. Again I would not recommend this product and if you get one check it thoroughly.

I installed this in my diesel 4x4.The glass bowl is great as you can visually check for water in the fuel.So far I have not had any water in my fuel but the peace of mind of having this as a secondary fuel filter is great.The price is good, size is great, and the fittings fit better than a more expensive brand I had to send back.There are a few knock off versions of this out there. I bought this version as reviews were positive.I do recommend this fuel filter.
