Bought this as an alternative to my electric opener, which works consistently very well, just so I have a manual opener on hand. I probably used this 3 times overall and each time did not function as advertised or shown in videos. I followed directions exactly but could never get a consistent open and had to re-try multiple times. Yesterday I needed to use it due to a dry cork issue that was crumbling and all it would do would just unscrew and not pull. I also tried it on another bottle and the same thing happened. After examining and researching online of possible issues I determine the screw guide was possibly damaged. Not sure how that happened with only using it 3 times, but the guide is plastic, so it was obviously not built to last. When you look online about replacing it, they say you should just order a new opener. Yea, not happening, it went straight to the garbage, and I ordered a completely different style manual opener. Unfortunately, it was past my return window, so a refund or replacement was not an option. A refund would have been my only preference as I will never consider buying one of these again.

The little foil remover gadget works great. The wine opener is very lightweight and at first I was concerned that it wouldn't hold up; but it's actually quite sturdy. I find the weight a bonus now. It took me a couple of tries to get the hang of it, but now that I have, it's super fast and simple to use.

This metal version is the best of their choices. It is the most durable, operates smoothly on cork and synthetic corks and can pull some very tight corks and ones that have dried out somewhat.

I really liked this corkscrew at first, it was easy to use and got the cork out without a ton of effort. The last 4 or 5 times I have tried to use it I haven't been able to remove the cork from the bottle and have had to get my standby waiters corkscrew. In fairness it may be due to the corks swelling with storage but it is frustrating regardless.

I paid the premium price for the brand name which I recognize and thought of as a quality brand. This item is so poorly made that I actually think it might be a fraudulent version. It feels cheap and imprecise and it is. The handles are plastic and the little gears in the mechanism do not engage properly. I just attempted one last time to use it and it literally would not remove the cork!I have a similar opener by another brand and it works great, opens wine in one smooth motion.I am going to pursue a return, but this is actually so bad that I will not be able to use it at all. I am not sure why there are positive reviews of this item as the negative reviews all talk about exactly the same issues I have and they are all about a poorly made device. I am sure NONE of them work very well.

My husband finally complain the Rabbit we got, and that is why he seldom use it. The cogwheel is not working, it does not grab the cogwheel to let it have the power to pull the cork out. Every time he tried to use it, feels like he is going to bend and break the Rabbit corkscrew. The Red one was out of stock, the Red Rabbit we used at our friend's house were ok, but this silver the material looks a little bit flimsy. I guess because the one side can not grab on to the cogwheel so there is no strength to pull out the Cork. Can I get a refund or replace with a good quality one?

I bought one of these for a friend as a replacement for a similar corkscrew (same design, different make) that had broken. This corkscrew is very well made and feels very sturdy. If you haven't used one of these before they are excellent corkscrews. They grip the head of the bottle and then remove the cork by you pulling the lever over the bottle and back again. They take a bit of wrist strength to pull the arm down towards the bottle and pull the cork out, but are far less fiddly than a conventional corkscrew. The same action is repeated to remove the cork from the device - it is all very simple.

This product was delivered within seven business days. The item is very easy to use and there have been no problems so far. I recommend purchasing this corkscrew instead of buying cheaper, poorly made ones that you can find at any retail store.
