This comes with basically 3 sizes and the smallest one worked great for Honda with the auto dimming rear view mirror. I used my multi meter and had switched 12v off the red wire. Super happy and makes it convenient for power for radar detector right off the rear view area.

The cord is a bit short, and it will be a tight fit from the mirror wiring harness to my Dr u e, do I move to cut through the nice side sheath and did more wire. Otherwise it seems well made and the barrel connector is exactly what I need for my application. This kit is a good price as you get 3 of these to side accessories up in more than 1 car.

Been working for a while now, no issues. You’ll of course have two spares, which may be good if transferring between two or three vehicles, depending on if the spares fit said vehicles.

This is not 16" long; see photos attached. The overall length of this cable, from the outside edge of the RJ11 plug to the tip of the metal pins on the other end, is 14.5". But that isn't the worst part: The hard plastic molded joint -- which they sell as a "feature" -- is actually a big pain, because it's too large to fit through the narrow gaps you'll have with any car's mirror housing. Plus, that joint is right in the middle of the cable, which reduces your working cable length to 5.5" -- that's the distance from the RJ11 connector to the molded joint. Then you've got another 5.5" from the molded joint to the pins that will actually act as the taps in you mirror connector. I returned this cable set, because it's unusable in my situation -- and I'm willing to bet it won't work for you, either.

This product should be used by everyone with radar detector. It saves space and never has to be unplugged. I’ve been using these for years. I definitely recommend one.

I love these things.Used a multimeter to find a switched lead behind the mirror on my Honda Pilot. Plugged this little guy in, and bingo! Simple, clean install.Highly recommend. 5 stars!
