I got it mid-summer, now is September, so far it held on. I try not to park in the sun but sometimes i do. I do not intend to relocate it, i believe it's a one-shot deal.

metal plate is too wide and doesn't fit the Escort Passport Max 360.i still had my old suction cup holder and swapped the plates. Although the "step incline" of the plate is lost since the thread on it doesn't match.anyway.. it works but just making you aware of this.Update: it drops off the windshield when there's is just a bit of sun

Just got two of these. Put the first one in the Jeep today. It holds WAY better than the Escort OEM one, which broke after less than 2 weeks use and vibrates even on smooth road. This one holds the 9500 detector still on rough roads, and has an easier to adjust metal shelf the detector clips to. Shelf was a perfect fit for the 9500, the Escort one I had to file down. We shall see how it holds up but very happy so far.

My passport escort radar detector clips directly into this.It has been mounted to my windshield for months now without falling off! Much better than the suction cup mount that comes with your radar detector.

This mount works great with the exception that I had to use a dremel to open up the three little slots that slide into the radar detector. Sounds like this is a common issue. It needs very little taken out and now It locks perfect. Maybe just the paint thickness taken off.

I have a Escort 9500ix Passport that I move between vehicles that have different style windshields on different angles. This was a perfect solution to not having to bend the original clip that came with the passport and possibly breaking it. Suction is good and adjustment is great. Fit my PP perfect. Does not stick to the windshield, no matter the weather. I have tried mounting dry and wet, no difference. Seller ignored my claim but luckily Amazon refunded after return date.I am using the factory mount again which works better.Do not buy.
