I have an older Cobra detector, changed cord as original has cigarette lighter plug. Detector works fine. $10 cord vs $200 for a new detector. Very easy choice to make. Lol

If you get it for the drf1, just know that the plug doesn’t go all the way in flush and looks kinda strange. Work tho.

Nice cord and works well. I have an older radar detector, Cobra Lazer 360, and it powers it just fine using my dual port car charger that has a regular and USB-C. Seems well made and is nicer than the original coil cord that was falling apart. My only concern is the part that goes into the radar is pretty long compared to the original and sticks out quite a bit, but still worth it.
