I purchased this in September 2024 and wanted to give it a few months to really give an honest review. Does it fit? yes. Is it flat? Technically...yes, although it has a black edge around the outside of the element. Does it heat up? Well...here's where it gets bad. The element heats up and doesn't stay heated. Takes FOREVER to boil water. When making Pasta you have to make time for the extra 25-30 minutes for dinner. Also note the edging around the inset element prevents a larger pot/pan from fitting correctly. VERY frustrating. You also have to play a game of "peek-a-boo" to see if the element is actually on ( Red) when cooking. What I mean is, you have to keep pushing the pan away from the element and sometimes put half the pan off the "circlet" in order for it to keep the heat on. Would I purchase this product again. Only if they lowered the price to $50. Way too much money for what you get. Better off looking into a new stove. Good luck!

The unit I was replacing was much better.This one has a metal edge which traps food and debris, making it hard to keep clean. In addition, it does not get hot enough. It will not bring water in a Dutch oven to a boil.

After installation, I operated the front "infinite" (should be "continuous") switch and the back burner turned on. If one were to place a pan on one of the burners, turned it on and walked away, the heating of the other burner could be problematic if something was near the unexpectedly live burner.To prevent this cooktop from being mistakenly reshipped to another customer, the box was Sharpie marked: "*** Returned, Cooktop Miswired."
