I attached a left hand and a right hand mole holster and got rid of the middle pocket. I now can carry double pistols and a bottle of water along with my radio and not overheat or have the weight or discomfort around my waist when climbing mountains or hunting bear and wolves.

Weird item.I purchased this vest to carry two small Ham Radios. The vest is VERY SMALL and sits VERY HIGH up on my chest, almost choking my neck. What is that all about?? In addition, it is very small around my chest/back, even though I loosened all the straps all they way. And I am not large, just average size.How could they design a TINY vest that literally sits right up on your NECK? How??Horrible Fit. Useless. Already returned it for a refund and ordered a different product.Not Recommended.

This chest rig is very well made with quality materials. I have confidence that the durable material will last for years. The pouches hold the radio securely in the rig with out elastic.Fully adjustable and will fit a range of body shapes and sizes.A great value at this price.

I take my kids hiking, and I have them carry GMRS radios when we go. This will be an experiment in ways of carrying those radios - I don't want the radio to become the focus of the day, I want it to "disappear" and be out of the way (we don't chat on them much - they are mainly for emergencies). So the notion of a chest pack is worth a try. This one is ideal - already has the pockets for the radio, room for a phone, and some essentials (e.g. a mylar poncho, whistle, glow stick). Is well made - the seller is right to "brag on" the zippers - they used good ones - Quality overall is good, better than many I've seen, and consistent with what I would expect for the $25 price tag.
