So much more than I expected. Easy to use. Doesn’t tangle being in a roll. Very good quality and strong. I’d highly recommend if looking for rafia.

This is really nice and so much easier to use than the bundled up raffia strips. I doubled it up to tie around boxes or at tops of cello bags. really nice, ties great and very nice color green

I bought a skein last year and needed a second one the summer to make a project. Color matched great and price was comparable

This isn't rayon raffia, it's paper raffia. For those who don't know, rayon raffia is made from cotton. There's pros and cons to crocheting with paper raffia:Pros:- Better value. Paper raffia is quarter of the price of rayon raffia- Eco-friendly- Sturdy enough to crochet into hats and bagsCons- Paper raffia is basically folded up tissue paper. You can NOT get it wet or else there is a good chance it'll fall apart.- It's weaker, so if you pull your stitches too hard, it will snap- Your fingers will hurt because it does not pull as smoothly so you have to use a lot of strength.I use paper raffia ribbon to make a practice pattern and get rayon raffia for the final product.

This is the perfect addition to the rustic look I am going for this holiday season. The raffia can easily be "opened up" to make a larger (wider) piece. It is thin, yet sturdy. The roll is nicely wrapped so that it does not get tangled.
