"Raffia" is made from a type of palm tree. The seller has mislabeled this product - it is made of paper, not raffia. If you look at this product's specifications (which I didn't think to do), it says it's made of paper. You can tear/break this ribbon without using scissors (not sturdy), something that you cannot do with actual raffia. Not happy!

We go these for present wrapping. The colors were awesome and it serves it purpose well! Will definitely be using for years as you get quite a bit for the price!
