This is good for the price, but a little awkward trying to get a kayak onto it. The kayak slipped off the dolly going thru woods...rough trail. If you put the kayak facing forward and put the straps in front of the seat, the seat helps to keep the straps from slipping and helps hold the straps on. Rough terrain requires stopping and retightening strap sometimes. Great price and perfect for my needs.

This dolly has saved me so much effort! I use it to ferry my kayak from the parking area to the launch site at the springs. The distance is at least 500yds and sandy. The dolly works like a champ with absolutely no issue. If you need something to ferry your equipment to/from the water, look no further.

Very handy. Easy to use. Sure beats carrying or dragging the kayak. Worth the money.

Ordered this thinking it would be better than the TMS cart which sells for $32. Actually it is identical with the same problems: very smelly tires which won't hold air and a flimsy strap. Returned it and got a Wheeleez at REI with foam tires (no valves) and two ratcheting straps $108 after 20% discount but you get what you pay for and the Wheeleez can also load kayaks. Distributor was great about the return by the way.

Wheel blew out on first use. When it blew it was just setting there with nothing on it, Correct amount of air was in tires. I had read a couple of reviews on this but just thought maybe they just over inflated or something. Well I was wrong!!! Really the first problem I have run into with all the years of buying off Amazon. This is a product problem.

This is a great, sturdy kayak and canoe cart for the price. You can pay twice as much for other carts that have only one kickstand. It assembles easily; just put on the wheels.

no matter what way I tried the kayak does not stay on the wheels.what a waste of money this was. the tie keeps slipping.

Very handy device. Wheels work well on or off pavement.

This cart was simple to put together, folds up beautifully to take with me on my kayak - I have a 6' sit on top that is wide. I put the straps through the bottom of the cart, through the handles on each side of the kayak and tightened the strap. This cart goes over rough terrain quite well. The only thing I do not like is that the wheels fold up when I put the kayak in the back of the truck. I was hoping to avoid taking the cart on and off of the kayak to transport. I will try it again backward - perhaps they will remain open that way.

I'm using this to transport a sup/kayak. It's been a game changer, making transport so much easier. Tracks well on grass, gravel, sand. Tends to shift on bigger rocks so I bought a second tie-down to keep the unit more secure. Four stars instead of five for that reason only.

Tried it on rougher terrain and absolutely useless. Garbage! Canoe wouldn’t stay on even with the strap that comes with it and other ropes. Should be okay on pavement or really smooth surfaces. Waste of $$ for me. Live and learn!
