I had a gnat size fly that was driving me nuts. So I bought this Raid product. I love it. I shook it like the directions say then I opened the cap and took off the inside plastic. I located a spot in the middle of my plants near the window. The first day I could see the gnats on the rim and accidentally touched the container and they all flew away. The next day I had (no kidding) 15 gnats floating in the container. GROSS!! I thought I only had one. Then I moved it to my kitchen and there were 2 more that found the container. They dove right in like the rest. I love it. Obviously they didn’t realize how toxic this liquid was. It was so easy to open and it did its trick. It is like 1/2 cup container so small, easy to use, better than plain apple cider vinegar. It isn’t noticeable and worked better than I ever imagined. As a matter of fact I put it on 21 day repeat subscription in case. But after 6 days, I think I got them all. It does have the scent of apple cider vinegar but you have to be close to it to smell it. I also emptied it down the drain ( that is the directions) and there is sludge in the bottom. I think it disintegrates the bugs as well. . I couldn’t be pleased more.

I had a gnat invasion that I tried every home remedy to combat. I decided to give this a try. I was a little surprised at the packaging & ingredients. It’s essentially soap & vinegar in a plastic jar- which I had already tried! However, this got to work immediately! Most of my gnats were trapped overnight. My only complaint is that it’s an open container so you need to be careful not to knock it over. It’s not the most pleasant of smells & very sticky should it end up on your counter. Overall very pleased.

I had been battling those pesky things for weeks and all of my previous old home remedies weren't doing anything at all! It was the worst they had ever been. For the life of me I couldn't even figure out where they came from. Kitchen was clean, kept the sink drains closed... didn't even buy anything fresh fruits or veggies that I couldn't keep in the fridge.Decided to try Amazon to see what I could find. I bought just one of these to try and within 2-3 days they were all gone! I will 100% buy again if I need too.It was a little smelly but not majorly and was definitely worth dealing with for a few days.

OMGOSH!!!!! This is by far the very best fruit fly trap I have ever seen in my life. We had tried, citrus fruit and dishwashing liquid, fly sensors, dangling fly strips, sprays, and it meant absolutely nothing until this baby arrived on Saturday morning. By the time the Super Bowl rolled around they were all inside this container! It does exactly what it says it will do and it drew every single fruit fly from this entire house right into the kitchen. It only required that I shake it really well before opening. I peeled back the covering with a kitchen cleaning glove and tossed it in the trash. You leave the top off in a place no one will disturb it or knock it over. So the top stays off of up to 21 days, if needed. Once done, you can replace or just throw out contents and toss container in trash. Really simple and super genius on Raid's part!!!!!

They say this is "pet and child safe" but yet the top is completely open, meaning you're leaving an open jar of liquid out. That may be safe but it's not smart. I expected some kind of mesh or something on top - it's pretty useless when you have kids and pets. I can only put it where it's completely out of reach of both. I'm afraid my cat will drink it and either cat or kid would knock it over - it's a lot of liquid and would be a huge mess. Would not buy again.

I live in Florida amd after back to back hurricanes I've tried everything. This was my last effort before calling an exterminator. All gone!!! 4 days later gnat free. I was freaked out first couple of days as they were just around it. Then yesterday full! And carcasses all around it. Bleached everything down and leaving it out to ensure these irritating pesky bugs are done. Easy to use. Smells bad but what bug killer does. I'd rather deal woth the smell a few days since it worked.

Since there's nothing to trap the flies, very few actually ended up in the liquid.
