Bought this item last year and enjoyed a hassle free extra 100 gallons of rain water (we have 10 other rain barrels - water is precious in the SW and monsoon rains fill them quickly). Just got this one set up and smiled ear to ear. The only 'complaint' from my last purchase was the top is, well, floppy and unsturdy. This addition is brilliant.

Set up was easy, but it went downhill from there. It’s very wide and shallow, so finding a surface to put it on that elevates it enough to get any sort of flow is near impossible. The final blow was the spigot on the bottom of the barrel isn’t a spigot! Not one that a garden hose fits. So I have to go out and get a hose specifically for this tub? Save yourself the headache and get a barrel shaped barrel with a width of 22-25 inches so you can make a cheap and easy stand out of cinder blocks.

Yes the rain collector will hold your water yes it’s easy to put together for one person and no it hasn’t broken busted or leaked anywhere but the interlocking system of the top ring is a bit faulty if need to move to a better spot or even just clean it after to get any kind of bacteria or bugs that may have gotten in those connections of sliding a sleeve over the other plastics end and doing it till all the top plastics pieces make a circle is ineffective unless the barrel is full of water and zipped up those top pieces are annoying trying to pull them all around without pulling the previous piece back out just annoying should be a better material for the purpose of keeping the top of the barrel intact also connecting my self watering system on it was easy but someone tripped over the pex piece of tubing I had attached to the spigot that comes attached to the barrel to dispense the water with a turn of the nozzle so now I just have a rain collector that gathers rain from my gutter being filtered and strained from downspout and then fill my watering cans and spend some time with my babies hope this helps k bye

This fits perfectly and drains perfectly. The only issue I got is it has a disconnect and there’s no reference to finding out what the hoses is. It’s very flexible and it’s a good idea if you got issues to go ahead and pick us up

I came back to review this.... bought this in March, build it, good for the raining season. After couple mouth, it started to loss parts from connection. I will say the skeleton of the barrel is very cheap made, it's OK, but I won't say it's good. It's Nov now, 7 month from the purchasing. My upper circle is completely in a mess(lost couple connector during the rain lol), and the hold thing is leaning to side. The structure can not hold it stable, (so I pretty much lost half of the capability)However, it will still hold some water....

It seems sturdy and functional. I got the 50 gallon barrel so it would be easier to handle. was very easy to assemble. I got the wood looking one. looks rustic and adds nice looks to the area. It has three valves, so that is a nice feature. I would buy another one to connect to this one to increase the capacity . I like it.

Has not lived up the expectations. The stands get bent easily after it’s been filled up and that causes it to tilt over. So it has to be half filled or it’s just gonna be water all over. Not good value for money . The best thing was the water ease of installation but it’s doesn’t really work
