Rain Bird FE40-25S Drip Irrigation 4 Gallon Per Hour Flag Dripper/Emitter, 25-Pack. Non-pressure compensating 4.0 gallon per hour high flow rate flag Drip emitter with shutoff. Ideal for watering root zones of garden and landscape plants, shrubs, bushes, small to large trees and large size containers. Features a unique "twist off" flag top for fast, easy flushing and large water passages to help prevent clogging. Barbed ends provide for direct insertion into 1/2" Drip irrigation tubing and connection to 1/4" Drip tubing for positioning near individual plants. Constructed of highly durable UV and chemical-resistant materials to assure long life. Insert by hand or for faster installation in larger projects use the Rain Bird hole punch tool: HPUN1-1S (sold separately). Convenient plastic bag contains 25 dripper/emitters. Also available (sold separately) in: 1.0 (FE10-25S), and 2.0 (FE20-25SX) gallon per hour flow rate models to customize watering of varying plant types and sizes. rain bird drip irrigation supplies are my go to brand on Amazon. They have quality that you know will work. It’s a more expensive in some situations but you get what you pay for.

I have a lot of Rain Bird products to use in the vegetable garden. Great quality and last for years. I take them up at the end of the growing season and reuse them the next year. I bought these because I made the garden larger.

I should have read the reviews. This simply pours water straight through: no damping down to 1/2 gal per hour as advertised. Had them all hooked up to test then discovered the 2 gal/hr units were putting a fraction of the water.

These do not work at all to reduce the flow rate. They just allow the full flow of water through the 1/4†line.
