One of the reasons I chose these particular key rings is that they were listed as stainless steel. THEY ARE NOT. Since they are only about 50 cents each I decided to keep them anyway. Take a look at the photo. Low grade stainless steel may have a weak attraction to a magnet but these are strongly attracted to magnets. When I held the unopened package of them in my hand close to a magnet in my shop they literately jumped to the magnet.

They seem to be of good construction, and if watching all those diamond tester TV shows on Discovery Channel where they scratch the diamond with a knife, these just feel like they aren't going to take a scratch without a fight (No I did not scratch them, they just feel real good in my hands)
