I have a friend that has a trailer that we have been beating up pretty bad moving limestone blocks to his lake house and needed a few boards screwed back down. This kit worked perfect for that. Eventually he will need to replace the boards, and I will keep this kit for that project.The kit comes with 100 screws which you think is a lot, but one board took 8 screws, so may have to get more. Also included are the drill bits and the driver bits for the Torx head screws. The drill bit is slightly smaller than the screws so that the self-threading end of the screw can bite into the metal. You cannot use a nut on the end unless you cut off the end of the screw first. I have also used these screws to tap threads into wood, which worked great as they are pretty long, and my cheap Harbor Freight tap would not reach that far.This is a handy kit to help secure the deck boards on a trailer and I can recommend it.....

Bolts that bolt things together. They do it well, too. Strong with high quality threads that are easy to install into any 1/4-20 but or hole. Specifications accurate to advertised measurements. Good deal for the price

They get the job done. My trailer now 21 years old has a few ACQ treated boards that need replacing.The original screws are holding tight and seized in the steel cross members. They appear to be identicalto the ones from Amazon. The recommend fastener for ACQ treated lumber is Stainless marine gradeor galvanized . Grade 10 stainless and galvanized if available would be expensive.As you can see 21 years in ACQ lumber eats away these bolts but none have failed . This one I shearedoff trying to remove it….others just did not yield. My plan is to dry the lumber, drill the holes, seal the bottom with butyl tape and fill hole with thinned 2 part epoxy. After an hour insert bolts and tighten.This MAY seal the bolt from moisture and the ACQ. Unfortunately in 21 years I will not be here toFind out if it worked 😂

I liked that pilot drill bits and drivers were included. The process was straightforward and easy to do as long as you pay attention to detail. A quality product that performs well!

This is a pack of 100 self tapping black phosphate metal screws. The screws are flat head with a T30 torx drive. Each screw is 1/4"-20 x 2-1/2". The set includes two 7/32" high speed drills and two T30 torx hex shaft drivers. Use these screws to easily and quickly attach deck boards to trailer frames. These screws are weather and corrosion resistant for a long and durable service life.Would recommend these to anyone.

Had to drive through some 1/8" plate steel to screw down 3/4" deck for my snowmobile trailer and nothing would go through the steel until I used the supplies drill bit, and ran these monster self tappers into the 1/8" steel to secure the front of the plywood to the metal.The supplied drill bits and torx bits came in clutch.5 Star..what beasts!

I got this little trailer with a nice wooden floor, but what's that doing for you if you want to haul some dirt or gravel, when the side walls are just wire mesh? So, I have decided to install sides all around to about the height of the metal walls of about a foot. These deck screws will make a quick job out of that, in particular as the drills required and the driver are included.

Self drilling at least enough to replace boards that rotted off a trailer. Just predrilled the boards and used the same holes in the trailer frame. Function very well
