Washing precautions:

It was hard to find a rep[lacement for my old terry cloth robe that I use in and out of my hot tub. My old robe was heavy weight, soft, and kept me warm. After several purchase and returns, I came across this one. It's a very good robe.

I like a terry cloth robe. The material is great, thick soft and plush. I don't like the belt being permanently attached to the back of the robe. For me, I'm 6ft, the belt attaches for someone shorter. I can feel the attachment on my back - a slight annoyance. Other than that, a good robe. I'm keeping it.

After a disappointing earlier robe purchase(returned), I ordered this one.My initial impression, after laundering, is very good. The fabric weight is heavyish, the sleeves are long enough to cover my wrists (my 34-35†arm length).The belt is sewn on the back on both sides, before the side loops, so you can’t lose the belt.There was some slight pilling of the fabric and some loose threads on the belt, a moderate and expected drier lint harvest but no big deal, time will tell.

We bought two of these robes for our guest bath. After I washed them I became concerned with how long these will last. Some of the seams were unraveling. Others have stated the same thing about these robes. If you want a well made robe that will hold up, it will cost you around $100 each, but they will last. I have two Cypress robes in the master bath that we've had for nearly 12 years and I have never had to cut any strings from it. If you're a beginner with robes you may be satisfied with this robe, but if you've had nice ones, you'll know these are not great.Good enough for the guest bath. I just have to cut the strings off after each washing.

I am so disappointed with this robe, and I would have returned it had my wife not thrown away the packing and box it came in. They say it should fit a man over 6 foot and over 300 lbs, they LIE! I'm 6 foot & 265lbs and I'm barely able to tie it closed. In fact, when it is tied closed and I sit down, it opens up from crotch to chest.CRAPPY ROBE!!!
