I got this to replace the original solinoid on my ATV with a 50/50 chance it would fix the problem. The starter wsa the other 50%. The starter is hard to get to for even testing it. I'd have to pull a bunch of plastic parts off spending likely hours there. The solenoid replacement was quick and easy, but it didn't fix the problem. So I had to replace the starter anyway. The new solenoid is working fine now and I have the original as a spare.

I have an old article cat that I keep going with the occasional fix like this. The ATV was just clicking but would not turn over. After replacing the starter solenoid it is up and going again.

It's a starter solenoid and it worked on my dad's Honda Rancher, not much more to say. I'd buy it again if I needed it.
