This embosses to a nice silvery white shine. You don't see the shine until light shines on it, but once it does it looks very nice. Very easy to use.

This comes out very pretty. It's a shiny silver and nice and thick when embossed. I am really impressed with this one. I always thought it was something I was doing wrong. I've tried about five brands including Ranger, to no avail. This one works!

This is my favorite embossing powder for the holidays. I love the sheen. It looks especially stunning on black, but really goes with any color cardstock.

The color of this is a pale silver that I find very pretty and versatile to use on many types of cards and paper projects. The powder is fairly fine and adheres well to the versamark inkpad I use for embossing. Can be very elegant for wedding or sophisticated cards, can also be used to emboss areas to provide a resist when using watercolors or water based markers over, for a different look than just clear or white.

The color is exactly as you'd think- slightly metallic and gray like silver, but iridescent and white like pearl! I love Ranger embossing powders, the grain is fine enough to capture moderate detail (I've used extra fine for more detailed stamps and this is coarser grain compared to that) but the grains are large enough to give you a nice thick layer of embossing (which finer powders do not).
