I have been looking for the "grapey" purple and this color fit the bill perfectly. All Ranger powders are top-notch performers.

I thought the purple was going to be darker like in the picture (that nice royal purple) but when it came- it doesn’t look that dark (while in the bottle) and when embossed it comes out more like a pastel purple. Anyhow— even though I wasn’t expecting pastel purple, my card still turned out nice (because I happen to like light purple too). But if you are truly expecting your product to look like the dark purple in the picture though- you’re going to be disappointed. I’ll post a picture of my card so you can see how light it turns out.

Great color, real purple! Not sure if it embosses as well as I would like, but it does the job. Sometimes it's the paper.

As you can see from the photo, purple powder was disappointing.1. The powder didn't stick as well as silver when you put it on the ink2. Much of the powder that DID stick didn't emboss with plenty of heat3. The powder that embossed, was barely visible straight on. I had to tilt the paper in the light to see if it was even embossedAlso know, on 20lb paper, it bleeds through to the other side if that matters.
