The Ink Pads are water-reactive dye & pigment ink fusion that creates an oxidized effect when sprayed with water. Use with stamps, stencils, and direct to surface. Blend using Ink Blending Tools and Foam. Re-ink using Distress Oxide Re-inkers. Ink pad measuring 3 x 3 inches (7.5 x 7.5 cm) raised felt ink pad.

I use this ink for my scrapbooking projects. I like to use satin and glossy photo paper. I noticed when I inked this paper it was blotchy and did not look good. I really should use the distress ink on photo paper and not the oxide. I figured out that if I wipe the photo paper after I have inked it with a baby wipe it looksbeautiful. The color is vibrant but the trick is wiping the paper down with a baby wipe.

This does all the things I expect from Distress Oxide ink. The pad is nice and juicy and the color is lovely.

Do you know if it’s Tim Holtz there’s a 99% chance you’re gonna love the product. I love all of the distress inks and oxides. This is a beautiful color.
