Grab on to a pinch weld seam and pull.The weakest part would be the M10 eyelet ring on the clamp side.That eyelet is not meant to be outright pulled on, it is only for guiding the pull as the rear ring does all the force work.It's a good body tool.

Purchased this strictly because of price. I am comparing to MO_CLAMP. received product in 7 business days and opened. The casting finish was rough and teeth were fairly dull. Overall this will be used 2 to 3 times a year and was a good value. If I were to use as a daily tool I might have spent more.

This body clamp is well made and it is self tightening. The clamp body is very hefty and it has the bell shaped pulling ring so the harder you pull the harder it clamps. You can pull in two directions at once. This clamp works great.
