I was looking for a good electric stapler, and decided to try this one, as it was one of the cheapest and also ships via Prime. At $14.58 it's a great deal!It takes standard size staples, a plus. It only holds around 80 or so staples, so the standard 'wedge' of 210 staples has to be broken, very easy to do.I was a bit concerned that it is 'supposed' to only staple 20 sheets, but today I stapled 31 sheets with no problem.It runs on 4 AA batteries or an AC adaptor. I have yet to use the AC adaptor, and probably never will. I prefer cordless devices which can be moved anywhere and everywhere.All in all, a great little stapler. I plan to order another before the price goes up, or it is discontinued.

It's not dual stapler, description is wrong. This model adaptor operated, and can not work on batteries. Model 10EX is working with batteries, and not adaptor operated, its capacity just 10 sheets max.

It usually takes several "jabs" with the paper to get this stapler to activate, but when it does, it does a good job. It seems like the paper has to be aligned just right, which seems a little too picky to me. The electric stapler I had for many years prior to this one worked every time I inserted the paper - no fuss. I don't remember the brand name of the old one, but at the time I was shopping I couldn't find it so I bought this one.

Worked for 7 months then started going crazy, I would have to squeeze the sides for it to work or hit the thing. Seems like something inside is loose. Finally gave out today. Past the return policy or replacement policy. Says there is a 2 year manufacturer warranty, I'll probably be dead before I find out how thats done. I probably stapled between 8 and 20 times a day, not a big deal, would have thought it would last longer than this.

It is terrible!!! It does not work. Cheap but does not work. Came with no instructions in the box. I bought it and bring to Brazil so i can not get a refund.

Bought to replace a Swingline plug-in which gave out after a couple of years with only moderate use. The Rapid stapler has been perfect so far. I like the fact that I do not need to plug it in (but it does come with the adapter if you prefer) and it has been fine using batteries. The opening is small so you cannot fit too many sheets but actually I see this as an advantage to remind the user to put in fewer papers and avoid jams. It is easy to use, looks good on our desk, and has never jammed. Even when the Swingline was operating, if you did not hit the switch just right it did not staple. The Rapid 20EX has never had that problem. Always works the first time. A good product and good value.

Got this for 18$ Wow so happy compare to 50$ it does a perfect job, the only thing I don't like is that it doesn't go far in the pages it only staples on the border so dont expect to staple at one inch from the border of you sheet... look at the picture and this is max you get

I love gadgets so this is a nice addition to my desk. Works very well but if I can make one complaint is the width of the opening to put paper in. It's not very wide so you have to carefully maneuver the sheets of paper inside to staple them. Still love it though :)

Make sure you clarify which model you will receive prior to purchase. I received the 20EX model and it does not accept batteries (AC adaptor only), in their product description (prior to purchase) it stated batteries or AC adaptor. I looked through the instructions there is another model 20BX in which it displayed batteries inside.
