I recently discovered that my favorite welding helmet does not provide ideal UV protection. Add to it, the fumes and soot from burning flux wreaks havoc in my nostrils and lungs. There's no room behind my helmet for a full respirator, and the regular medical face masks for dust masks do not offer sufficient protection or they shift around too much.This balaclava is very comfortable, convenient and effective. It does not hinder my breathing like a dust mask, and it breathes quite well, allowing me to breathe quite well as well.NOTE: this is not 100% cotton as advertised, but 92% continent and 8% spandex.

This balaclava is great! It isn’t 100% cotton, but has a small percentage of spandex so that it holds its shape better and is form fitting to the head. I wear it under my helmet when I go skiing and it gives me a great fit with insulation for warmth. I have skin sensitivities that acrylic fabrics bother so this high cotton content helps. As a woman though, I just wish it came in other colors than black, army green, and desert camo brown.

It's good for the money, light, warm, and should fit anybody. But a few things threw me off, there was a hole in the balaclava which I don't entirely have a huge problem with although I did see a lot of other reviews about the tag saying 92% Cotton and 8% Spandex but it's advertised as 100% cotton which makes me think they caught on and started ripping the tag off which could have caused the hole, it's just an assumption though so it could have been a problem with amazon. Overall it's a great balaclava, it looks nice and feels comfortable, I personally bought it for winter + some russian vdv larping.

Had strong cologne odor. Probably sent used item. Refunded. Very thin material like a thin tee shirt. I bought this for winter weather. Certainty wouldn't be warm.

Definitely good material nice on the face definitely going to buy more of this product good for work and outside activitiesI have a big head and the medium is a great tight comfortable fit.
