Well worth the money. My female rats absolutely love it. I put cherios in it. They will spin this all day and caught on quick. And as a extra bonus you get to watch them figure it out and spin in for treats. It looks kinda small at first but its the perfect size for them to operate it also you would not need it any bigger because the more treats the more they eat lol. Because they will spin it til there's none left!

This toy is really only meh as a toy for rats in particular, because it’s small enough for a mouse and not really large or sturdy enough for rats. It seems cheap and not well made for the price. The one I tested in my quarantine cage with 3 females basically worked okay and seemed to amuse them, but I ended up uninstalling it and giving it to someone with babies, so it wasn’t a good purchase for me. So, would work under supervision for most rats, best for babies and mice. And, I will repeat: under supervision, because any rodent will take this apart with those long incisor teeth if they feel like chewing.

The rats quickly learned how to get the treats out so I’m glad it doesn’t hold too many treats. Plus sized rats need portion control. They haven’t chewed it up because they ignore it after they’ve emptied it. I should have ordered 2 because the first one there doesn’t move to share. Good price so I probably will buy another and put it on the opposite side of the cage.

I like it it's cute and my ratto likes it a lot but i thought it would be a little bigger. Also, it's pricey but you can't really find this at pet shops so it's not that bad.

The toy is made of plastic just like describe with a mirror at the back, however this not for rats, this is the size of a toy for hamsters. I posted a photo of the size of a very small rat treat versus the toy... I got it refunded...
