OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
The 1/2" Conduit size punch requires 3/8" or larger pilot hole.
Step 2
Place 1/2" conduit die on 3/8" draw stud. Insert draw stud through pilot hole.
Step 3
Thread punch on draw stud with cutting edge toward material being punched.
Step 4
Turn draw sutd clockwise with the wrench until material is punched.
CAUTION:
Punch will become free hole and could fall.
Step 5
Disassemble punch by turning draw stud conter-clockwise while holding punch. Tip die and drop out split slugs.
Step 6
For 3/4" through 2" conduit sized holes use 3/4" draw stud. Place selected size die on draw stud. Insert draw stud in 3/4" or larger pilot hole. Thread same size punch on the draw stud with the cutting edge toward the material being punched.
Step 7
Turn draw stud clockwise with wrench until material is punched.
CAUTION:
Punch become free hole and could fall.
Step 8
Disassemble punch by turning draw stud counter-clockwise while holeding punch. Tipe die and drop out slip slugs.
Time Saver.
Use 1/2" conduit punch to make 7/8" pilot hole for 3/4"-2" conduit punches.

Needed these for making the center hole in my kitchen sink a tad bit bigger to drop the water lines through - used the 1.5" size - cut a clean hole and broke the scrap piece in 2 as its supposed to - Also I know it states that these not for stainless material but it cut through mine with little effort.

I liked how easy these were to use.Dies were sharp and worked well. The 1/2 inch ratchet drive... Meh use something else with a longer handle. You'll be glad you did. Dies have to be strong. I accidentally used the wrong die and cutter!I had this thing in a vise and thought.... Man it should cut right through this thin sheet metal. WOULD NOT budge! Cheater pipe and foot on the table gorilla pulling that ratchet! Doing the Homer thing... Slapping forehead.. DUH! Right cutter size, wrong die! Probably dulled the dickens out of that cutter. LOL. Be careful out there, this is super easy to do. Check twice, cut once applies here guys.

I would have preferred to have an actual instruction sheet. The tools are very solid and cut out circles in a steel filing cabinet with ease. The carrying case is trim and solid. Prompt delivery and an excellent seller.

Didn’t know about these type of tools, thank god my contractor friend share with me on it. Did the hole fast and easy vs drilling with step bit. Save my butt on a panel change out:

Very satisfied especially for the price. This set will punch out 1/2" holes all day long with minimal effort (I've done 26 so far). I have found on the larger die (only using the 3/4†and 1" dies) you need to be pretty liberal with the grease. Im only punching out electrical raceway and j boxes in my shop but I've had to chase out the threads a few times even using nice cutting fluid and thread lubricants. The punch dies themselves are fine and easy to sharpen, it's just the threads on the larger screw fixture that seem a little soft given the torque needed. It's not greenlee but I'm also not a pro. Needs a little TLC every few punches to clean out fines and rechase any galled threads but it's good enough for me and cuts perfect holes.I can't speak for the quality of the ratchet with the set as I prefer to be precise with my hole location and use a box wrench when I'm punching knockouts under 1".Go slow, lubricate your threads, apply even torque. Don't quit after the first "pop", wait for the second pop and then turn it once more to chamfer the edge and it pops through.Overall, I'm very happy. Quality "seems" a step or 2 above a comparable HF set."No Ragrets". Not even a single letter.
