My son loves the Rawlings Workhorse gloves. He uses these for Batting practice and workouts to help save his Bruce Bolts for the games; if you don't use the Bolts wrist cuff, these are perfect and, just as good.

I have a player that hits hundreds of balls a day on the right side and left side. We go through a lot of gloves and these ones seem to hold up the best. If you prefer a tackier glove then maybe these aren’t for you. There are tackier gloves out there but the leather is noticeably thinner and not nearly as durable. We gladly sacrifice a more tacky feel for the durability. A little bit of pine tar makes up the difference. I recommend these.

One problem that is almost always present in any glove is the discomfort created by the seams. These gloves are an exception. Every finger seam is smooth and relatively flat with no discomfort. The fingers are perfectly sized for my XL hands and snug enough to keep my hands firmly on the bat grip. I have used them in many games and several batting practice sessions, and they have retained their shape without overstretching. The front or palm side of the gloves is fine quality leather, which I consider the perfect thickness, not too thick and not too thin. The back side of the gloves is a stretchable material that has held its shape thus far. I like them so much that I bought another pair in the camo material, but this new pair is sewn in a very different manner, but the important things are the same. I have other pairs of batting gloves that sell for twice as much as these but are barely half as good. If you need batting gloves, these are probably the best at any price.
