Put eyelet through the hole and put it on hollowed base

Put washer on eyelet tube don't slide the set on hollowed base

Must place install tool vertically, keep stable and strike with hammer

The thickness of these are nice and make them strong. A good selection of colors to match my shoes. Sized just right for my boots. Great to use as replacement eyelets for shoes or boots and have them working like new again. Easy to align and install.

I added grommets to thick fleece backed faux leather with HTV vinyl for details on my 6ft nutcracker. These little grommets and the tools to install them had no trouble. Definitely recommend if this is the size you need!

The punch doesn’t work well on thin fabric but I used scissors. The rings are well made and easy to install following instructions. I needed to anchor my patio curtain and it worked well.

This is an item that requires a little knowledge and skill if working with certain types of material. I'm working on a project that requires eyelets placed in the 4 corners of a mesh bag. And the mesh bag will be attached to the outside on my backpack. I was concerned that these or any other eyelets wouldn't hold. I was surprised how tightly these grip the mesh material. The trick is to cut the smallest slit with a knife you can and stretch the material around the eyelet. And secondly really hammer down the eyelet to hold the washer in place facing the concave side down. I'm sure this should be done on any fabric as well and leave the punch for thicker material. I'm very happy with the quality, strength, look and ease of use. Practice before doing the real thing. I feel like I got more than my monies worth. The test I did before doing the final included trying to rip the eyelet out and was not able to. And I pulled extremely hard. Not one bit of material pulled out.

Tailored up my vest like a BAWWSS! True, this kit doesn't come with black eyelets, but I don't care that much.

I had high hopes for this. It doesn't even cut a clean hole through paper! Not impressed.
